Zamzar is a web application which allows you toconvert files without downloading a software tool. Users can type in a URL or upload one or more files (if they're all the same format) from their computer, Zamzar then converts the file(s) to another format. It supports a lot of files, like docs, audio, images, video and archives:Document formats include: csv, doc, docx, odp, ods, odt, pdf, ppt, pptx, ps, pub, rtf, wpd, wps, xls, xlsx. Image formats include: bmp, gif, jpg, pcx, png, tga, tiff, wbmp. Music formats include: aac, ac3, flac, m4a, mp3, ra, ram, wav, wma. Video formats include: 3g2, 3gp, avi, flv, gvi, m4v, mov, mp4, mpg, rm, rmvb, vob, wmv.
For example, it can convert flash streaming media to mp3, or wav or flac to mp3, bmp to jpg, docx to doc and so on and so forth. The current file size limit is 100 mb but if you want more, you can register but you'll have to pay between $7 and $49 per month.
